CH Rush Hill’s Your Not Hallucyn’ating

I have loved Kirby since the time I have seen him on Tonya’s Visa card! You see, I never got to meet Kirby, as I joined the sport shortly after his death. (I guess we charge alot and I saw him repeatedly!! )I have heard stories of his “antics” for years and what a gentleman he was. And I loved his kids like Bistro, Pharley, Penny, Sorbet and Rumble. I knew one thing and one thing only…Kirby was cherished and the love for him had no boundaries.

The “Cyn” litter was equally special. Not only was the sire Kirby but the litter was named after Cyndy Heisler. Cyndy Heisler had meant so much to so many us. I have talked with Cyndy so many times and she has always been watching and helping. When Vegas was campaigned and still to this day, if you see my rubbing my necklace…you will see me “talking” with Cyndy. She was a great person and I know one of the best friends ever with Tonya. So when the litter was planned…I begged for a puppy!!

So the puppy with the huge side gait was the one that caught my eye over and over!  And he came to stay! Vision has been the perfect boy at our house! He is the ladies man….and can get himself into trouble that way but always with the best intentions!! If you look at his grand father, Derby, you can see the similarities ….even the coat! Yes…a few waves and curls. Ok… enough waves and curls that he exhausted all my grooming skills and Tonya never gave up on making him looking his best!

Vision was the 150th Champion for Kirby a milestone mark for the top producing Golden in history. When he finished, I jumped up and down just like Cyndy would have done! And Vision buried his face in the Haagen-Dasz container getting a sweet treat,  a tradition for every new Kirby champion.

At the 2018 GRCA National in St Louis, Mo, Vision won the 8-10 class Veteran Sweeps class under Judge Linda Willard and was Best Opposite in Veteran Sweepstakes under Judge Mary Burke.

Thank you Tonya for giving us such a special gift. Truly, he was a gift as it came from the heart in so many ways. Vision will always be know in our house as “Vision of Loveliness”-the perfect gentleman!
