“Riot was the first dog I purchased from you. I remember calling you at 7:00 am (you always hated that) on my way to work and asked if I could get a female out of Felony, I loved that girl.”
I was given Riot at the Spokane specialties. She was the one crawling out of her pen. I also learned be careful what you call your puppy. How many times she embarrassed me with her incessant barking when at shows when she wasn’t by my side. She literally caused her own Riot for 13 glorious years.
If I talk of Riot she was the first dog I finished by myself. She taught me there was no such thing as just 1 point but most of all how instrumental she and I were with the help of vets, other breeders and social media to discover Hydrops through dogged determination to get an answer. She had an impact on many who learned from our experience and was able to save their dams and puppies in the future by knowledge, early diagnosis and preventive measures.
