The Beginning
What can I say about “Honey” She will always hold a place in our hearts as our first home bred champion, and the start of Rush Hill. While Honey lived with us she was co-owned with Jaimie Johnson. Jaimie had a love for the Goldens, while her family bred and showed Irish Setters. Jaimie put most of the points on Honey along with being her partner in Juniors. The two of them were a great team and gathered several Best Junior Showmanship along the way.
Honey was as truly sweet as her name implies. She was only bred one time. In this litter she did produce a champion and one of her puppies went into the Guide Dogs for the blind. They were so happy with her workability that they incorporated her into their breeding program.
