Connors was my first champion that Tonya Struble finished fo me. After 10 years of owning and showing golden retrievers, I appreciated her help and effort to get his championship. Connors and my prior golden retrievers opened many doors for me in the conformation world. I have traveled to many cities, met many people that have become friends, and enjoyed the competition of showing dogs. He was an easy dog to train and got his WC after 6 months of training.
Connors loved tennis balls. Of course he would, watch what you name your dogs. His favorite thing to do with them was to strip them. He would sit there for hours stripping the outer layer off the tennis ball. He would take a deep sign and look around for the next tennis ball to strip.
Thank you Tonya for trusting Connors and his mom, Ariel, with me and introducing me to the world of conformation. I have enjoyed for over 30 years.
